Ram Khamma

Mr. Khamma is a Vice President at RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR), where he leads energy management and sustainability execution across the firm’s real estate platform. He is responsible for enterprise energy performance, driving asset-level and portfolio-wide value through cost optimization, demand management, decarbonization and strategic energy procurement. His work integrates AI-driven platforms and advanced analytics to improve operating efficiency, reduce energy intensity and enhance long-term performance.

Prior to joining RMR, Mr. Khamma was a Director at PwC, where he advised global organizations, private equity firms and public companies with large real estate portfolios on energy strategy and value creation. He supported large-scale energy procurement and market participation decisions, including analysis of grid dynamics and load forecasting, across asset classes such as data centers, life sciences, manufacturing and commercial real estate.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Khamma led energy analytics and sustainability initiatives at Link Logistics Real Estate, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he oversaw enterprise energy strategy across a 450 million square foot portfolio. He also held roles at Edison Energy and JPMorgan Chase, with a focus on energy markets, procurement and portfolio optimization.

Mr. Khamma specializes in energy markets, advanced analytics and clean energy strategy, including power purchase agreements (PPAs and VPPAs), demand forecasting and portfolio-level optimization. He holds a PhD in Architecture (Technology), a Master of Science in Statistics (Applied Machine Learning) and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from the Birla Institute of Technology, India.
