Steven Bonelli

Mr. Bonell is a Vice President at RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR), where he leads acquisition, underwriting and strategic execution for the firm’s commercial platform. He partners closely with REIT management teams to enhance portfolio performance and advance growth objectives.

Prior to joining RMR in 2026, Mr. Bonelli co-led the real estate team at Lighthouse Real Estate Investments, managing the company’s real estate portfolio and executing acquisition and development opportunities across target asset classes and markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bonelli led the finance and acquisitions team at Samuels & Associates.

Mr. Bonelli is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a past board member of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) and a former leader of MIT’s Alumni Association of the Center for Real Estate. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching various youth sports for his two boys. Mr. Bonelli holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and a Master's degree in real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
