Summit Walia

Mr. Walia serves as Vice President and Head of Acquisitions of RMR Residential. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of RMR Residential’s investment strategy nationwide and oversees a team that sources and closes value-add and core-plus residential investments. Prior to joining RMR in 2024, he was Managing Director, Real Estate Acquisitions at LaSalle Investment Management and prior to that, he was Executive Director, Real Estate Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and was part of the Business Honors program. Mr. Walia is a member of ULI’s Multi-Family Gold Council and is also a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council. In the past he was an Advisory Council Member of the University of Texas Real Estate and Finance Investment Center.
